ON THE LOCAL FRONT On April 9th, 2010 more than 1,300 Houstonians came together to give $25,000 for multiple sclerosis research during the second annual Crawfish Boil Fundraiser organized by Employer Flexible. The eight-hour Crawfish Boil Fundraiser included live music, silent and live auctions, games and raffles and children's activities along with mounds of crawfish with sides supplied to Goode Company. Employer Flexible is committed to the fight against multiple sclerosis and to making the Crawfish Boil even bigger and better for years to come.More than 50 Houston-area businesses made significant contributions to sponsor the Crawfish Boil, including: Adaptive Driving Access, southeast Texas' largest handicap van and mobility equipment dealer; Conch Company Inc., a full-service industrial distributor dealing mainly with electrical oilfield applications; Rehab Specialties, a durable medical equipment company; Techcess Group, an information technology outsourcing company serving small to midsized businesses; CS2 Inc., which provides energy, environmental and green energy compliance strategies and solutions; CT Gasket, which provides gasket, molded elastomer and machined plastics products for a wide variety of industries; Alliance Graphics & Printing, which provides a broad array of printing services including creative development, graphic design, promotional products, bindery, fulfillment, procurement and direct mail services; Sandtrap Grill at Heron Lakes Golf Course, which features casual American dining, an exciting bar, and a casual outdoor deck; and ContentActive, an internet content management and Web development company. ![]() On October 8th, Employer Flexible along with over 30 Houston area businesses partnered together to raise $7500.00 for the Ronald McDonald House of Houston during the 2nd Annual Small Business Charity Golf Tournament at Black Horse Golf Club. All funds raised during this event benefitted the Ronald McDonald House of Houston. Located in the Texas Medical Center the Ronald McDonald House of Houston provides home-like environments, where families can find support and share experiences with others while on their journey to overcome a critical childhood illness. ![]() In 2009 Employer Flexible has partnered with United Cerebral Palsy of Houston & "Matthew's Challenge" to help raise $30,000 to support programs providing free or low cost, high quality services to thousands of children and adults with disabilities and their families. Employer Flexible & Clear Channel Houston helped to raise funds for this cause by matching donations across the Houston area.
